DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Russell Westbrook ($10,500): Harden is going to break out of his slump at some point, but I likely wont be using him when he does. That price is way too high for what he’s doing, and tonight’s matchup with Dallas isn’t an easy one. I like Russ better here since he has picked up the slack with Harden struggling and Luka is out. Russ’s numbers against Dallas aren’t great this year, but they are good enough with all of the outside factors figured in.

Damian Lillard ($9,900): Lillard has 100.5 DraftKings points in two games against the Lakers this year. That’s a solid return for the investment. Then you look at Lillard going for at least 70 DraftKIngs points in four straight. Then the report drops that Melo’s out. Things are aligning for Lillard to have another monster game. There’s room for more than one monster game at Staples Center tonight. It’s going to be hard to get LeBron and Lillard in the same lineup, but I will at least once. Those two could score 150 combined DraftKings points.

Honorable Mention:

Kyle Lowry ($7,200): Lowry has 100.25 DraftKings points in two games against the Pistons so far this year. Detroit may be marginally better against the point with Jackson back, but not enough to slow down Lowry. Lowry went well over value last night. He should have no issues doing so again tonight.

Lonzo Ball ($7,000): Ball has only been under 30 DraftKings points once in the last dozen games. He also has more DraftKings point games over 40 than 30 in that span. He’s a little inconsistent, but if the floor is 30, I have no problem paying this price. Ball has a solid 62.5 DraftKings points in the first two games against Memphis. I would expect him to increase the average a bit here.

Ja Morant ($6,900): The inconsistencies seem to be behind the rookie for the most part. Morant has at least 35 DraftKings points in 10 of the last 11. The team that held him under was Boston and that was the worst game of his young career. The Pelicans aren’t going to do that to him. Morant went well over 30 in each of the first two games against the Pelicans when he wasn’t all that consistent. He will again here.

Dark Horses:

Monte Morris ($5,000): Morris is to the point where he’s still worth a look as long as Murray is out. Even if Denver ends up emptying the bench, there isn’t much behind Morris. He has to play. That makes it a little bit easy to take him as a value pick when he’s not really priced like one anymore.

Delon Wright ($5,000): I finally used him last week and he burned me good. Not tonight. Luka is out so Wright and Curry are going to get as much run as they can handle. Wright is more of a proven commodity, but Curry is much cheaper and a better shooter. Use whichever one fits your budget.

Reggie Jackson ($4,800): This isn’t a good matchup, but Jackson is still on a minutes limit and therefore absurdly cheap. Jackson has 128.75 DraftKings points in the four games since his return. That’s around 6.7x value. He likely wont hit that against Toronto, but 6x value is within reach.
