DraftKings NBA picks February 1: 10pm to 1am Eastern is Dame time

The NBA goes heavy on Saturday this weekend with ten games. The Timberwolves start early in L.A., so that one is showdown only. The real DraftKings NBA action begins at the normal time with nine games on the main slate. As usual, the first order of business is injuries. We also need to look out for resting players with Brooklyn, Dallas, Portland, and the Lakers all playing back to backs.

Out: Luka Doncic (ankle), Steph Curry (hand), Klay Thompson (knee), Kemba Walker (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (rest), Marvin Bagley (foot), Elfrid Payton (suspension), Jonathan Isaac (knee), Richaun Holmes (shoulder), Josh Richardson (hamstring), RJ Barrett (ankle), Mo Wagner (ankle), Jordan McRae (ankle), De’Andre Hunter (ankle), D.J. Augustin (knee), Enes Kanter (hip), Justise Winslow (back), Jusuf Nurkic (leg), Zach Collins (shoulder), Alex Len (hip), Jabari Parker (shoulder), Frank Ntilikina (groin), Garrison Mathews (ankle), Rodney Hood (Achilles), Skal Labissiere (knee), John Wall (Achilles), C.J. Miles (wrist), Kevin Durant (Achilles), Al-Farouq Aminu (knee), Robert Williams (hip), DeMarcus Cousins (knee), Dylan Windler (leg), Kevon Looney (abdomen), Dwight Powell (Achilles), Deandre Bembry (hand), Chandler Parsons (shoulder).

Questionable: LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb), Rui Hachimura (groin), P.J. Washington (ankle), Dewayne Dedmon (illness), Bruno Fernando (calf), Tony Bradley (knee), Brandon Knight (knee).

The Wizards have stated that if Hachimura plays, he’s on a 20 minute limit. That’s not enough to consider using him. I do thank them for the info though. This is a lengthy injury report. Hopefully we get a lot of clarification early. LMA participated in shootaround, so he is expected to play tonight. That diminishes DeRozan a little bit.

Last night was one of those nights that was doomed from the beginning. Barea starts and dazzles. Wright, Curry, Brunson, and Hardaway were onlookers. I was all in on LeBron, who underwhelmed for the price. My two Lillard lineups almost cashed, but there was way too much garbage at guard.

USaki2meISaki2U got the takedown with 382.25 DraftKings points. That was almost six points ahead of second. He had both Lillard and Kyrie with Whiteside, CP3, Barea, House, DFS, and Pat Connaughton. At least someone didn’t luck in with Tony freaking Snell…..

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
