DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Deandre Ayton ($7,500): Milwaukee isn’t all that strong against centers. Ayton is long and athletic. BroLo couldn’t handle guys like that in his prime. Don’t expect a huge game from Ayton, but he’s playing minutes in the high 30’s lately. This is a very fair price for what he’s capable of.

Serge Ibaka ($6,200): Dollar for dollar, Serge is actually more of a sure thing than Siakam. Ibaka is a high percentage shooter and good defensive player. He doesn’t block like he did with the Thunder, but Ibaka is still a very nice play when he’s getting most of the minutes up front.

Honorable Mention:

Derrick Favors ($5,300): Favors has 91.5 DraftKings points in three games against the Rockets so far this year. That’s right, he’s the only Pelican to play all three games against the Rockets so far. Zion is stealing some production, but both he and Favors are going to dominate poor little P.J. Favors is a strong mid-range play today.

Dark Horses:

P.J. Tucker ($4,400): The Pelicans are pretty much just going to run over Tucker like Dallas did. Yes, that Dallas. The one that doesn’t have much of an inside presence. Tucker is still a decent option, but as Friday showed, he’s not hitting value if the shots don’t fall. He’s simply too small to do anything else at center.

Luke Kornet ($3,700): Kornet is very inconsistent. I actually like him more if Gafford plays since Kornet seems to be better off the bench. Tangling with Boucher seems like a solid matchup for Kornet, but there is huge risk here.
