The Kansas City Chiefs have won their first Super Bowl since Super Bowl Parades became a thing. Where do we expect it to happen and when?

The city of Kansas City is on top of the world as their team is the Super Bowl Champion. It’s been 50 years since anyone in that city can say their football team was the best in the world. The red and yellow is just days away from taking over the city, and the celebration will continue once the team returns with a parade.

So, when should we expect said parade to happen? The city has been planning for the possibility of a parade, and more than a million people coming to one downtown area. Looking back at the Kansas City Royals World Championship back in 2015, 800,000 people stormed downtown Kansas City, and the mayor of the city expects the Chiefs Super Bowl celebration to dwarf that party.

It’s been confirmed to take place on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. CT.

We can look at the Royals parade to get an idea of what we’re going to get from the Chief’s celebration. The route started at noon on a Tuesday and left from the Sprint Center. From there, it went north on Grand Boulevard, east on 9th St. for two blocks, went south on Oak St., turned right on Truman Rd. just to get back on Grand Boulevard. From there, they went straight for Union Station, where you could say it was a madhouse.

It took the Royals two days to get a World Series parade together, so we’d imagine the city won’t want to wait too much longer for a Super Bowl celebration. They want to keep the momentum going, so expect this to get together by Tuesday, Wednesday the latest.
