The San Francisco 49ers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Miami for Super Bowl 54 being led by coach Kyle Shanahan and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

The San Francisco 49ers are in the Super Bowl! The 49ers entered the playoffs with a first-round bye and defeated the Minnesota Vikings in the Divisional Round before outing the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship.

Now they go on to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Miami for Super Bowl 54.

Led by head coach Kyle Shanahan, the 49ers have been one of the league’s best teams, featuring a top defense and an incredible offense led by the second-best rushing attack in the NFL this year.

Who are the players that lead the way for this Niners team?

You can see the official team roster at the 49ers’ website. What you are probably more interested in, though, is the depth chart, which shows the starters and backups for each position. You can find San Francisco’s unofficial depth chart on their website as well.

Pro-Footbal- Reference also has the team roster, plus a slightly different depth chart.

San Francisco’s offense is led by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Emmanuel Sanders, tight end George Kittle, full back Kyle Juszczyk and running backs Matt Breida, Tevin Coleman and Raheem Mostert.

The 49ers’ defense is led by defensive lineman Nick Bosa and Arik Armstead, linebacker Kwon Alexander, and cornerbacks Richard Sherman and Emmanuel Mosley.

This is the first Super Bowl for many of these players, but head coach Kyle Shanahan has coached his way to a Super Bowl appearance before. In 2017, he made Super Bowl 51 as the offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons, where the Falcons went on to lose to the Patriots 34-28 after blowing a 28-3 lead late in the third quarter. This is Shanahan’s first appearance as a head coach.

Super Bowl 54 kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on FOX.
