NBA DFS: Studs, scrubs, and duds on DraftKings and FanDuel Feb. 3
Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on February 3 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.
Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:
7 p.m. ET: Orlando at Charlotte, New York at Cleveland, Dallas at Indiana, Golden State at Washington
7:30 p.m. ET: Boston at Atlanta, Phoenix at Brooklyn, Philadelphia at Miami
8 p.m. ET: Detroit at Memphis
10 p.m. ET: Minnesota at Sacramento
10:30 p.m. ET: San Antonio at LA Clippers
How this works:
Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.
Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.
Studs
Kawhi Leonard (vs SA – $10,300 on DK; $10,300 on FD): Kawhi has been on a roll as of late and it’s tough to see him slowing down against his former team. George being back in the lineup obviously cuts into his opportunities, but this is Kawhi’s team and it’s been obvious for the majority of the season. Kawhi is guaranteed value with a high ceiling.
Bradley Beal (vs GS – $10,100 on DK; $10,100 on FD): Speaking of guaranteed value with a high ceiling. There’s no slowing down angry Bradley Beal and the Warriors certainly won’t be the team to do. Beal is playing at another level right now and given the matchup and circumstances, should be a big hit once again.
Devin Booker (at BKN – $8,600 on DK; $8,600 on FD): Booker is still feeling that All-Star snub and it desperate for a win. This would be his best chance as the Nets aren’t great. Points are not going to be an issue for Booker and obviously he can do a bit of everything. This is a favorable matchup and one he should get plenty of buckets against.
Spencer Dinwiddie (vs PHO – $8,000 on DK; $8,000 on FD): With no Kyrie, it’s Dinwiddie show once again. He’s a high ceiling player and his salary remains at a good level despite the injury to Kyrie. The matchup helps as the Suns haven’t played defense for the majority of the season. Dinwiddie should deliver big.
Jaylen Brown (at ATL – $7,600 on DK; $7,600 on FD): Brown conquered the Sixers and now I’m convinced that this man can do anything. Hayward and Tatum are also options for a similar price with Kemba out. The matchup is good because it’s the Hawks, I just prefer Brown to the other two.
