With Super Bowl 54 in the books, it’s already time to look forward to Super Bowl 55. Which teams do we think are most likely to make it there?

The betting world takes a major break in things when the Super Bowl ends. It’s the biggest sports betting day in the world, then it falls off a cliff for six months. Sure, the degenerates will bet on things like golf, baseball and the NFL Draft, but for the most part people just wait for football to come back.

Many of us will spend this week missing football, but probably not enough to consider watching the XFL. The Tampa Bay Vipers are the favorites there, just in case you were looking for a bet to make. However, one bet you could look forward to is the favorites to win the 2021 Super Bowl.

This is sometimes a point of futility, or it could be grabbing a team at the perfect time. There is zero hype around teams right now. None of these teams have made any offseason moves, and you can try to anticipate who’s going to make it. The San Francisco 49ers were 45/1 the day after Super Bowl 53. People who jumped on those odds were having a heck of a Super Bowl week.

It’s very hard to try and pick teams before free agency begins, especially with so many quarterbacks available. Usually the top players available are some cornerback or offensive lineman, and they make a big impact. However, when this many teams are going to change their QB, teams are going to look completely different.

That being said, you have a real chance to get awesome odds. Last year, even the favorites had nice odds (Patriots and Rams were 7/1 the day after their Super Bowl matchup). Here are the teams we anticipate being the very early favorites for Super Bowl 55.
