Yetur Gross-Matos. 27. player. 36. . Edge. Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks went into the 2019 NFL season as a team expected to battle for a playoff spot in the NFC, but they really exceeded expectations by getting all the way to the Divisional Round. Seattle still has an elite quarterback in Russell Wilson, but they have holes all over the roster, including up front along the defensive line.

Looking at this draft class, there are few edge rushers who bring the kind of talent that Yetur Gross-Matos from Penn State does. He has a very high motor, quick first step, an possesses the kind of power needed to move around offensive linemen at the next level.

Seattle’s defense has their issues, especially up front along the defensive line, and in the secondary, so adding an edge rusher makes a lot of sense this late in round one. Pete Carroll is still an elite head coach, and the Seahawks have the talent to be a player in the NFC once again in 2020, but unless they shore up  their deficiencies, the Divisional Round may be their ceiling.

Patrick Queen. 28. player. 26. . Linebacker. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens were the best team in the AFC all season long, clinching the No. 1 overall seed in the conference, and having the AFC Playoffs go through Charm City. Unfortunately for the Ravens, their playoff run lasted only one game, as they were shocked at home by No. 6 overall seed Tennessee.

Still, this was a huge season for the organization as a whole, as they saw second-year starting quarterback Lamar Jackson walk away with the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award. This is a kid who is going to make this franchise good for a very long time, but with pick No. 28, they have to address the needs on the other side of the ball.

One player starting to get a ton of first round buzz is Patrick Queen, and incredibly gifted middle linebacker from LSU. The Ravens are still looking to replace C.J. Mosley, who landed with the New York Jets in free agency last year, and Queen can certainly help them do just that.
