DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks February 7
By Mike Marteny
DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:
Mirotic wasn’t great against Milan in the first meeting, but he was good enough. Still, Bojan Dublejevic is much cheaper and providing a lot more bang for the buck right now. Dubljevic is my only lock at any position today. There are a lot of good options, but Dubljevic is the only one I would consider great right now.
The forwards were full of tough matchups in round 23, but not here. Gustavo Ayon is one of the few healthy regulars for St. Petersburg and they have a good matchup, so I expect another strong game for him. I don’t see a lot of sense in paying up for Monroe, who has almost no upside. Deshaun Thomas, Janis Timma, and Othello Hunter are pretty much the same way.
I’m a fan of Vladimir Micov here. He had one of his best games on the season against Barcelona the first time around with 33 DraftKings points and is fresh off of clearing 30 against Berlin.
If you want to go cheap at forward instead of guard, both Vladimir Lucic and Jan Vesely are performing well above their price range and have nice matchups here.
Instead of playing roulette with the Athens Papa’s, Mike Tobey and Tim Abromaitis are stupid cheap with clear paths to minutes. Tobey played more minutes than both Doornekamp and Abalde and is just $5,500. He will be in every lineup I even think about making.
