DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Damian Lillard ($9,900): You can spare me the back to back rhetoric with Dame. He just got done playing Utah on Saturday in the second game of a back to back and dumped 79 DraftKings points on them. Expect that kind of output again is silly, but Dame should still clear 50 with relative ease. He is averaging 56 DraftKings points per game in game two of back to backs this year. He actually gets better in those situations!

Kyle Lowry ($7,300): Lowry just ravaged the Pacers for 62.5 DraftKings points on Wednesday night. It looks as though Oladipo will rest, but I’m not sure that moves the needle on Lowry all that much. I would doubt that Lowry outscores Lillard tonight, but he may be close enough when you factor in the $2,600 savings, especially with a guy like Harden on the slate.

Honorable Mention:

Dennis Schroder ($6,800): There’s no question who the best Thunder guard has been lately. It’s Schroder, hands down. Schroder has four straight games over 40 DraftKings points and eight straight over 35. In fact, he has only been under 35 DraftKings points twice since the first of the year. Lock and load! Schroder is even matchup-proof right now.

Reggie Jackson ($6,100): Jackson erupted with Rose out on Wednesday night. Tonight could be an even bigger showing with Rose out and Drummond gone. Detroit gave away Drummond so they could get a good look at some of the young bigs they have. Reggie is going to gain a lot of points from directing traffic as well. He is really cheap at this price.

Dark Horses:

Jalen Brunson ($5,600): I feel dirty even considering a Dallas guard with what a mess the unit has been with Luka out, but with Barea on the outs as well, Brunson is going to see a ton of minutes against a terrible Washington defense that likely wont have Napier yet. Everyone has a monster game against Washington it seems, especially at the point. We at least have to consider Brunson here, but it doesn’t mean I have to trust him.

Mike Conley ($5,400): He’s baa-aaack. Conley has 76.5 DraftKings points over the last two games. One of those was against this same Portland team. I don’t know how Conley is still this cheap, but I’m not going to question it. I’m just going to take advantage of it.

Ish Smith ($4,700): Ish is basically the only point guard on the roster if Napier can’t make his debut. Even if Napier is able to play, I expect Smith to play a bulk of the minutes tonight. He could have a big game before fading back to a somewhat risky punt play. UPDATE: Napier will play, so I’m less enthusiastic about Ish.
