DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($9,900): Beal put up 56.5 DraftKings points in just 34 minutes in the first meeting with Memphis. Not much has changed. The Wizards are healthy, but with McRae gone, Beal is still the only accomplished and consistent scorer. His price is still too low for what he has been doing. Beal’s low mark since January 20 is Friday’s 48.75. He’s price for his floor, which makes Beal a very attractive option once again.

Donovan Mitchell ($7,300): Mitchell torched the Rockets in the first meeting, but both teams are much different since the last meeting. I don’t know how Russ made such a huge difference, but it appears he did. Mitchell is very reasonably priced against an up-tempo team. There’s plenty of upside here.

Honorable Mention:

Lou Williams ($6,800): I haven’t played Lou in quite a while. He hit big against Cleveland in the first meeting in just 19 minutes. Lou has been awful for all of February, even with Beverley out last night. However, if George or Kawhi sit, I’ll use Lou. Begrudgingly.

Collin Sexton ($6,500): The Clippers are on a back to back and just got smoked last night by Beasley and the Timberwolves. What position does he play? That’s right. SG. Sexton will start there, so he has massive upside, especially with the way he has been playing lately. Sexton put up 32.25 DraftKings points on the Clippers the first time. I like him for more than that here if Beverley is out. The Clippers were a mess without him.

Dark Horses:

Dillon Brooks ($4,900): Brooks dropped 40 DraftKings points in the first meeting against Washington. Don’t be upset by Brooks’ subpar Friday against Philly. They’re still a strong defensive team. I don’t expect Brooks up at 40 again, but I’m expecting Brooks to blow away value at this price.

Landry Shamet ($4,400): This is mostly on the feeling that either Kawhi or George sit in a back to back set. I’m only playing Shamet if he starts. His production is very erratic, but at least when Shamet gets a start, he has a lot better chance at giving us a good return on our investment.
