2. A.J. Green

The Cincinnati Bengals used a fourth-overall pick to draft a wide receiver out of Georgia in the 2011 NFL Draft.  Shortly after, management knew they made the right decision with that selection.

Why? Because A.J. Green has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL since.

Since being drafted into the league, Green has the fourth-most receiving yards (8,907) and touchdowns (63). He has the seventh-most receptions (602) as well. Impressively, his 111 games played rank 17th during that duration from 2011 to 2019.

Those numbers speak volumes to the type of player Green is. But that last point cannot go unnoticed. He only played nine games in 2018, and he missed the entire 2019 season due to injury.

Even with the injury history, Green is still the second-best receiver on the market. He has only had two seasons in which he hasn’t finished with 1,000+ yards.

At age 31, general managers may feel better handing him a shorter contract. He will have to prove he is healthy, but Green can still land a $10 million deal this offseason.

It is expected that Green may have lost a step as he recovered from injury. Although, he can still be an outside, possession receiver who is a big red-zone target. To think he will go for 1,000+ yards isn’t that far-fetched.

Green is not done by any means. However, at this point in his career, he probably isn’t the same wide receiver he used to be. Either way, he’s a game-changing receiver who would help such teams like the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles, among other Super Bowl hopefuls.
