DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($9,500): As the only significant source of scoring or the Wizards, Beal is always worth a look no matter the matchup. That said, the Bulls have actually done well containing him this year. Beal only has 79.25 DraftKings points in the two games against the Bulls this year. Beal needs his shootig back up around 50% to start hitting value again. He has only hit 21out of 53 shots over the last two games. Not surprisingly, he failed to hit 50 in both games. However, his floor is still low 40’s. That’s plenty good enough to justify rolling with Beal again.

Zach LaVine ($8,200): I haven’t used LaVine in a while because he’s priced for a ceiling game lately. That said, LaVine has 95.5 DraftKinsg points against the Wizards this year. Neither team can stop anyone, so this is going to be a high-scoring affair. LaVine hit value against Philly over the weekend. He should here as well.

Honorable Mention:

Jrue Holiday ($7,900): Well, we found out who will soak up all the usage if Ingram is out again. Holiday blasted the Pacers for 61 DraftKings points with Ingram out on Saturday. If Ingram is forced to sit again, Holiday is a lock. Everyone else gets a little boost, but Holiday doubled his recent production against a good team. If Ingram is in, I’m looking elsewhere.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($6,700): SGA’s production has stabilized for the time being. He has mostly avoided disastrous outings for the last couple of months, but he hasn’t had a ceiling game in a while either. He is constantly within 5-6x value now. His 73.5 DraftKings points in two games against the Spurs leaves him a slightly better option than CP3 at a more shallow position with higher upside.

Dennis Schroder ($6,500): Schroder kind of bottomed out against Detroit on Friday. It has been a while since he’s been under 30 DraftKings points. The floor is high for Schroder and the upside is almost as high as SGA. All of the Thunder guards are solid options tonight. One will come up big, but you almost have to play all three to assure you get the right one.

Dark Horses:

J.J. Redick ($4,500): We have seen Redick’s floor and ceiling within the last week. That’s never a good feeling, but it also shows why we keep playing him. Redick’s 39.5 against the Pacers on Saturday was good for a shade over 9x value. If Ingram is out again, I feel a lot better about this play. Otherwise Redick’s ceiling appears to be high 20’s instead of high 30’s.

Furkan Korkmaz ($4,500): I have a feeling that the Sixers are going to be like the Knicks and totally screw up the good thing going with Furkan. He has 100.25 DraftKings points over the last two games, but Richardson’s minutes limit is getting higher and the team has already said that new acquisition Alec Burks will play. This is a great dart throw, but Korkmaz will have a very short leash. He has started hot in each of the last two games. As soon as he cools off, his minutes are going somewhere else. They didn’t get Burks and Robinson just to pay them to sit around. That’s more of a corporate America trick.
