NBA DFS: Studs, scrubs, and duds for February 11
Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on February 11 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.
Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:
7 p.m. ET: LA Clippers at Philadelphia, Chicago at Washington
8 p.m. ET: Portland at New Orleans, San Antonio at Oklahoma City
9:30 p.m. ET: Boston at Houston
How this works:
Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.
Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.
Studs
Damian Lillard (at NO – $10,300 on DK; $9,800 on FD): As always, I’m not doubting this version of Lillard. It’s a good matchup and he continues to be on an absolute tear. The only reason to stay away from him would be matchup issues and this is not a matchup issue unless it’s the playoffs.
Jayson Tatum (at HOU – $8,400 on DK; $8,500 on FD): Tatum has been on a roll and this is a great matchup against a Rockets team that is undersized and not so great defensively. Tatum can score in a variety of ways and contribute in other areas.
Zion Williamson (vs POR – $7,400 on DK; $7,200 on FD): Zion has been consistent since his minutes have increased and it’s a good matchup against a Blazers team that still isn’t great defensively. Zion can hurt their frontcourt and get his points. He’s guaranteed value with a high ceiling.
LaMarcus Aldridge (at OKC – $6,700 on DK; $7,100 on FD): Aldridge has still never missed a shot against OKC. This is the one matchup he always gets his numbers against and tonight will be no different. He’ll get plenty of shots and he’ll hit plenty of shots. He’ll also chip in with rebounds as well
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (vs SA – $6,700 on DK; $7,600 on FD): It’s a good matchup for the OKC three guard lineup and you can’t go wrong with any of the three. Shai is coming off a strong game and I think he’ll look to be more aggressive in this game as well. He’s another player who won’t hurt you and has a high ceiling. Grab one of the OKC guards.
