The 2020 NFL Draft is a two months away, and in our latest 2020 NFL mock draft, the Los Angeles Chargers find their replacement at quarterback.

The 2020 NFL Draft is only a few months away, and over the next couple of weeks, we are going to start to see changes happening all over the NFL.

On Monday, it was announced that Philip Rivers would not be returning to the Los Angeles Chargers, which will cause a ripple effect across the league.

While we’ll get to Rivers’ former team shortly, let’s start our latest mock draft with the Cincinnati Bengals.

56. . Quarterback. Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow. 1. player

No change here at No. 1 overall, as nearly everybody has the Cincinnati Bengals selecting a new franchise quarterback. Looking at this draft class, one could make an argument that Tua Tagovailoa from Alabama could be the best quarterback prospect available, but LSU’s Joe Burrow will be impossible to pass up on.

This past season, Burrow led the Tigers to an undefeated season, capped off with a victory in the National Championship Game. In addition, Burrow took home the Heisman Trophy, finishing the year with arguably the best overall college football season we have ever seen.

With Andy Dalton’s contract being without dead money, there is no way he is back in Cincinnati next season, clearing the way for Burrow to come in and start right away. They have some solid talent on both sides of the ball, but this rebuild will last a year or two longer before they are an actual player in the NFC North moving forward.

Washington Commanders. Chase Young. 2. player. 58. . Edge

The Washington Redskins will be an interesting team to keep an eye on this offseason, as they have brought in a new head coach in Ron Rivera. Rivera is the kind of guy who will turn around the culture in the building in a hurry, and the Redskins need that kind of leader at the helm.

With his initial first-round pick as the head coach in Washington, Rivera should go with the best player available overall in this draft class. While Chase Young won’t go No. 1 overall due to the Bengals needing a quarterback, he will not slip past the Redskins here, as he has the potential to become an All-Pro.

During his time at Ohio State, Young got to play alongside Nick Bosa, who is fresh off winning the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. There are many who feel Young could end up being the better player of the two at the NFL level, which is saying a whole lot after seeing Bosa perform at such a high level in 2019.
