3. New Orleans Saints

While the Panthers certainly have their quarterback issues, no one in the NFL has a more unsettled situation in their QB room than the New Orleans Saints. The top three quarterbacks on the New Orleans depth chart last year are set to become free agents: Drew Brees, Teddy Bridgewater, and Taysom Hill.

The key to the entire situation here is Brees, the future Hall-of-Famer who has been trying to win another Super Bowl ring for a decade. Brees has hinted strongly he will only play in New Orleans, but there is word starting to circulate that he is strongly weighing the possibility of retirement.

If the Saints have to replace Brees long term, they could do worse than simply retaining Bridgewater and/or Hill. The bigger swing, however, would be calling up the Cowboys and inquiring on what it would take to land Prescott in terms of draft capital.

Prescott would enter another ideal situation in New Orleans, where he would have a supporting cast containing two of the most talented skill position players in football with Alvin Kamara and reigning Offensive Player of the Year Michael Thomas. The Saints also feature a tremendous offensive line, so Prescott would have plenty of protection to make big plays.

Sean Payton, one of the true offensive geniuses in the NFL, would no doubt love to get his hands on Prescott if Brees decides to hang up his spikes after the season. The Cowboys would probably be less thrilled about this idea, however, since Prescott could potentially stand in their way of trips to the Super Bowl for the next decade.
