DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,500): Downs destroyed Charlotte in the first meeting with 82.25 DraftKings points in just 27 minutes. That’s more than three fantasy points per minute! That’s not likely to happen again with Russell around. He needs the ball in his hands more often than not. Still, KAT has a dream matchup here and will likely have the highest score of the night. After all, he topped 50 against the Raptors on Monday.

Andre Drummond ($9,400): Drummond’s first game in Cleveland was an individual success. The team still got run off their home court. Never mind that. This is the Hawks. They at least have a chance here. Drummond averaged 50.8 DraftKiings points in his three games against Atlanta with Detroit. There’s no reason he can’t do that with Cleveland as well.

Nikola Vucevic ($9,000): Vucevic has over 50 DraftKings points in back to back games, which is unusual for him this year. Detroit gave Drummond away for a box of Thin Mints, so you basically have Thon and Wood trying to handle Vucevic. Good luck with that.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo ($7,800): Bam embarrassed Gobert in the first meeting with 55 DraftKings points. Bam has been in the 40’s in six straight games and nine of the last ten. I really doubt that Utah holds him under here. Bam could put up upper tier numbers at a middle tier price.

Marquese Chriss ($5,900): Go ahead and say he’s not worth it. I’ll listen. Chriss has racked up 79 DraftKings points in the last two games. He is the guy up front for the Warriors now, and he fits well with the team. If Ayton is out, I really like this play. Even if Ayton plays, this is still a solid bet.

Dark Horses:

Thon Maker ($4,800): Thon isn’t an every game play just yet. He struggled against the Knicks over the weekend, but has had good games against the Thunder and Hornets. The Magic aren’t a great matchup, so I’m a little reluctant to pay this.

Dewayne Dedmon ($4,700): Enjoy the value on Dedmon. It wont be there when Capela returns after the break. Dedmon has 60.25 DraftKings points in the two games starting for Atlanta. He’s not going to have a huge game against Drummond, but I see no reason why he can’t hit 30 again.

Mo Wagner ($4,500): Wagner woke up against the Grizzlies with 33.25 DraftKings points in just 24 minutes. Last night was a bit of a disappointment. His minutes limit is lower than Hachimura still, but we saw bits of this with the Lakers as well. Wagner can put up a whole lot of points in a short amount of time. That makes him a great GPP dart throw.
