3. Jack Conklin, OT, Tennessee Titans

There was a point earlier in his career that Jack Conklin was seen as one of the best right tackles in the league. He was someone with the athleticism to protect the quarterback and the strength to open up running lanes.

However, a significant knee injury slowed his overall development and effectiveness. This past season he was able to suit up for all 16 games and looked better towards the end of the year.

He’s still only 26 years old and showed glimpse of his former self late in the season. There are plenty of tackle-needy teams who will bid aggressively for his services.

The interesting thing to monitor is what his contract will look like. There’s a possibility that some team makes Conklin very rich.

A team like the Chicago Bears might be willing to throw some cash at Conklin. However, his former team the Tennessee Titans should also be in the mix to retain his services. If it comes down to money the Miami Dolphins could outbid anyone.

The Dolphins could realistically use a new starter at every position along the offensive line. So, they have to be considered an option for a young offensive tackle like Conklin.
