2. Brandon Scherff, OG, Washington Redskins

Brandon Scherff is known as a physical player who excels at creating running room in the middle of the field. He has a reputation as a nasty individual who looks to move defenders off the line of scrimmage. We could see some emphasis on players like Sherff after seeing the San Francisco 49ers utilize a run-heavy attack to make a Super Bowl appearance.

The concern surrounding Scherff is his health. He has missed a total of 15 games over the past three years. This past season he only played in 11 games which contributed to the Washington Redskins offensive struggles.

At age 28, Scherff will be looking for a long-term deal this offseason. However, he may be forced to take a one-year prove it deal.

Scherff could luck out because there are several teams that are desperate for offensive line help. The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets are two teams that have multiple needs along the offensive line. They both also have plenty of cap space to offer someone like Scherff a sizable deal.

It’ll be interesting to see if Scherff makes a money grab or looks to re-establish his value and hit the market again next season.
