Does mail get delivered on Presidents Day this year?

Most of the time we love getting mail, especially if it comes with a big Amazon sticker and it’s not a bill. Gross. But sometimes our shipping needs can’t be met because of various national holidays. So does Presidents Day 2020 fall under that category, or is it a normal shipping day for the United States Post Office?

Unfortunately, if you are looking for something that will come through the USPS you won’t be getting it on Monday as the post office is closed. The good news though is that FedEx and UPS will be delivering goods, as will Amazon.

Let’s face it, we only care about Amazon.

Also, if you’re anything like me, you have no idea what the heck Presidents Day even is so here’s a small breakdown on the holiday weekend.

The holiday falls anywhere from Feb. 15 to 21, this year falling on the 17. The day is used to celebrate all United States Presidents, past and present, not just George Washington as commonly thought. Some people also commonly mistake it for Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, but that is Feb. 12 – usually celebrated on the Friday of that week.
