DraftKings PGA – WGC Mexico Values

8,000 Jordan Spieth

I may be a psychopath for playing Jordan Spieth. Or at least a masochist. His irons have been suspect for the better part of a year. His driver frequently fails him. And his mental game is far from the elite level it was in the mid-2010’s. Don’t care (think of Jay Cutler meme). Jordan buys birdies in bulk, and at a price of 8,000 I am all in! He ranks 11th in DK scoring at this event and is top-10 in BOB in his last 12 despite a 55th, MC, 9th and 59th. 4 guaranteed rounds is the key for Spieth.

7,400 Byeong Hun (Ben) An

Baby swag! Ben’s wife had a baby boy, and you all know what that means to the DFS community. We are walking narrative street this week. Fire up the Korean crusher this week in DraftKings. The price is right, the game is there. I could think of far worse plays in this range. Benny pures his irons and is accurate off the tee. He ranks 16th in DK scoring at Chapultepec despite possessing finishes of T45 and T48 at this event. Oh yeah, did I mention he has Baby Swag?

7,100 Charles Howell III

Chucky 3 sticks is one of my favorite DFS plays. The guy is a cut making extraordinaire and can find the winners circle if the course fits his eye. Howell is a West Coast guy who excels on shorter courses and Poa greens. Check and check this week. Howell finished T14 in his first time playing Chapultepec last year. A made cut at the Genesis should be a boost to his confidence, and here is to hoping he does not lose 5 strokes on the greens this week.
