. Cornerback. Minnesota Vikings. Bryce Hall. 25. player. 60

The Minnesota Vikings made a nice run through the playoffs this season, winning in the Wild Card Round at home before beating the New Orleans Saints on the road. Quarterback Kirk Cousins may have silenced the narrative that he cannot win big games, and heading into 2020, they should once again be back in the mix for a playoff spot.

One area of need this offseason for the Vikings will be upgrading their defensive backfield, as Xavier Rhodes took a big step backwards this past season. Heading into 2020,  the Vikings should look to add talent to the cornerback position, and Bryce Hall from Virginia is a guy I could see landing in the first round.

Hall was a monster in 2018, playing so well that teams refused to even throw his way during the 2019 campaign. That will bode well for whatever team selects him this April, as he can shut down once side of the field, and in a tough NFC North division, the Vikings need all the help they can get in that department.

Edge. Miami Dolphins. Julian Okwara. 26. player. 59.

With their third and final selection in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins decide to turn their attention to  the defensive side of the ball. After selecting a quarterback and wide receiver with their first two picks, the Dolphins add a quality edge rusher, which is something head coach Brian Flores would be happy about.

Flores is a defensive-minded head coach, and one can only imagine what he could do with a versatile player like Julian Okwara from Notre Dame. This is a kid who can flat out tackle, can get the edge, and plays with the kind of motor that could end up making him a double-digit sack guy at the NFL level.

Miami has the luxury of having a ton of draft capital, and while they could trade back and get even more, they may want to hold on to all three picks, much like the Oakland Raiders did last year. Okwara is an intriguing talent, and when the NFL Combine rolls around, he is going to show everyone how special he is.
