Third Round

With the Browns’ first pick of the third round, they go with a defensive player. If they were to go with a linebacker, then Akeem Davis-Gaither out of Appalachian State might be the pick. However, if they were to go with a safety, then Ashtyn Davis out of Cal has to be the selection here.

Davis was a two-time all-conference player for the Golden Bears. He leaves Berkley with 166 total tackles (102 solo, 64 assists), 12 pass breakups and seven interceptions for 121 yards. At 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Davis can be a versatile playmaker in an NFL secondary. He is not afraid to make a big-time stop as a tackler and has shown excellent ball skills the safety position, too.

G. Michigan Wolverines. Ben Bredeson. 811. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 90. player

Cleveland has another third-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. While they could go wide receiver here, this projects as the deepest wide receiver draft in recent memory. Cleveland is better served waiting to go wideout with their fourth round pick. At No. 90 overall, they need to bolster their offensive interior by draft Michigan Wolverines guard Ben Bredeson.

At 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds, Bredeson is a behemoth and one who would look very nice in middle of Cleveland’s offensive line. Playing in a cold-weather climate like the Big Ten will certainly make things easier for Bredeson’s new life in the AFC North. Look for him to help keep Baker Mayfield upright and open up better running lanes for Nick Chubb to explode through in the coming years.
