DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

The Efes guard corps is going to be almost as thin as Valencia if Micic sits out. Krunoslav Simon looks like an excellent pick given the matchup, but he is very inconsistent. However, my money will be on Rodrigue Beaubois. He has 62.75 DraftKings points over the last three games anyway. I will probably use Simon once just in case, but I’m really liking Beaubois at the price.

Statistically, Nick Calathes has the toughest matchup for a guard in the EuroLeague today against Barcelona. However, Calathes put up 42.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Barcelona. I’m not going to be the one to tell you not to use him.

Conversely, the Barcelona guards have the best guard matchups against Athens. Malcolm Delaney racked up 31 DraftKings points on Olympiacos in just 21 minutes the first time around. I have a hard time paying five figures for a guy that averages 21 minutes per game, but he just might be worth it today. With Huertel out though, Delaney should see more minutes as should Cory Higgins. Pau Ribas is an interesting pick if you are comfortable taking a huge risk.

Forget what the paper says. Tel Aviv likely has the best matchup against a gutted Valencia backcourt. Scottie Wilbekin should be back to full strength after the layoff and looks great for the price. You can play roulette with Tyler Dorsey and Elijah Bryant if you want. I’ll look to Deni Avidja as my second Tel Aviv guard.

There are great values out there, so I see no sense in messing with the middle tier. The last pieces of value we have are with Valencia. Just keep in mind that this is not a great matchup to begin with. Avidja and Beaubois are likely better picks. Quino Colom should step into a large role here with both Loyd and SVR out again. If Vives is out, Vanja Markinovic will be a nice value as well.
