DraftKings NBA picks February 22: Don’t donate, use Giannis

We have a solid seven game Saturday, but the Clippers and Kings start early out west, so the main DraftKings NBA tournaments all have six games. We may lose Fox, Buddy, Kawhi, and PG, but we still have Trae, Harden, Luka, and Westbrook on this slate and that’s just the guards! Giannis, Embiid and Bam are up front too. Value is going to be hard to come by. Let’s see if the injury report helps out a little.

Out: Luka Doncic (ankle), Kyrie Irving (shoulder), Jimmy Butler (personal), Kristaps Porzingis (rest), Kevin Love (Achilles), Clint Capela (heel), Wendell Carter (ankle), Lauri Markkanen (pelvis), De’Andre Hunter (personal), Chandler Hutchison (shoulder), Otto Porter (foot), Tyler Herro (foot), Kris Dunn (knee), Luke Kornet (ankle), Willie Cauley-Stein (personal), Meyers Leonard (ankle), Alfonzo McKinnie (foot), Dylan Windler (leg), Kevin Durant (Achilles), Denzel Valentine (hamstring), Frank Kaminsky (knee), Skal Labissiere (knee), Deandre Bembry (abdomen), Dwight Powell (Achilles).

Questionable: Seth Curry (knee), Eric Gordon (leg), Kyle Korver (back).

This is a simple enough injury report. Gordon’s status will affect Rockets value, but other than that, we aren’t waiting on anything. That’s very nice on a weekend!

It took over 300 to cash again, but three of my five lineups were over tonight, so it was a solid night. I was heavy on A.D. and CJ. I’ll tell you I was panicked when Davis headed to the locker room early in the game. Anthony Davis headed to locker room doesn’t mean what it used to though.

369 DraftKings points was enough for the takedown tonight. Ballertine took it home riding the value of Simons, O’Neale, Steven Adams, and Beastley while building around CJ, A.D., Tatum, and Porzingis. I was close to this one with the exception of Porzingis. I actively try not to play guys against Orlando.

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
