DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Joel Embiid ($9,400): Embiid was nearly ten DraftKings points off of his Christmas pace earlier this month in Milwaukee. I still think Embiid is a solid play here, but probably more a piece of a game stack than as a standalone piece. I have a feeling the Bucks are going foot-on-throat here. That will likely limit Embiid’s production.

Deandre Ayton ($8,700): Ayton was solid against Toronto last night, but solid doesn’t but it in this price range. The Bulls are awful up front right now. Kornet, Carter, and Markkanen are all out and Gafford is still on a minutes limit. Not like it matters. Gafford and Felicio aren’t stopping Ayton. He could be in for a big night tonight.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo ($8,600): Bam destroyed the Hawks on Thursday. It should be a little less easy against Cleveland, but this is a team in flux right now. Bam put up 78 DraftKings points over the first two games with Cleveland. I would expect something closer to that than the 69.75 DraftKings point decimation of Atlanta.

Kristaps Porzingis ($8,000): I will preface this by admitting that I probably still wont use Porzingis. His dominant performances with Luka on the court are few and far between and damn sure don’t happen on consecutive nights. I will admit that it could with the Hawks on the docket. They are getting shredded up front lately and Capela’s heel is still an issue. This is another game that Porzingis can dominate, but will he? UPDATE: Porziginis is OUT. Kleber is the money maker, but someone else has to start. Say hello to MKG and BOBAN!!

Dark Horses:

DeAndre Jordan ($5,500): The Nets are high on Allen, but they are also realizing that this is a playoff team and Jordan can push them more in that direction than Allen can. I expect strong games for both Allen and Jordan tonight, but Jordan is by far the more reliable DFS asset. He has at least 40 DraftKings points in three of the last four. The only team that held him was Toronto. I like these odds of Jordan putting together another big night.

Maxi Kleber ($3,900): Why do I have the feeling that Kleber is going to wreck a lot of lineups? He had one of the best games of his career against the Hawks in the first meeting and did the same to the Magic last night. I have my doubts about an encore performance, but if it were ever going to happen, it would be here.
