DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

LaMarcus Aldridge ($7,500): Both Siakam and Sabonis have canceled each other out. Then you have Aldridge, who has thoroughly beaten on the Thunder up front in all three games. He has 154.5 DraftKings points in the three games against the Thunder. It’s going to be another huge game for Aldridge. Enjoy the discount!

Christian Wood ($7,400): If you don’t see Wood in the starting five, don’t panic. Wood still notched 30 minutes and a double-double off the bench on Friday. He is producing no matter how Detroit uses him. The price is high enough now that Wood doesn’t have a whole lot of upside, but he has enough to consider using him if you have the cash.

Honorable Mention:

Thad Young ($6,500): I don’t really want to play Thad, but the Bulls are forcing my hand again. Young is playing big minutes and putting up numbers from his prime. Young was a disappointment against this same Wizards team just before the break and the fact that the Wizards are healthy up front makes me nervous. Especially since the price jumped another $1,000.

Carmelo Anthony ($5,600): Melo is stepping back up lately with Lilllard out. He’s not enough of a shot maker anymore to take over offensively, but he’s still good enough to put up a nice line when you’re only paying this price. Detroit is pretty weak up front right now. I expect another strong outing from Melo.

Dark Horses:

James Johnson ($4,900): Johnson is doing what Minnesota brought him in to do and then some. He had his troubles against Boston, but I expect Johnson to have more of a role against Denver here. At any rate, Johnson keeps turning in lines in the mid-20’s for DraftKings points. That’s a plenty solid return for the investment.

Paul Millsap ($4,500): Millsap was a disaster against the Thunder on Friday, but this is a superb matchup against a gutted Minnesota team. The main thing to take away from Friday was that Millsap played 27 minutes to Porter’s eight. If he plays 27 minutes again, 30 DraftKings points seems certain.

Eric Paschall ($4,400): Paschall has been playing starter minutes anyway, but his production is lackluster at best. My thinking here is that he’ll absorb a lot of the defensive numbers that Draymond usually racks up. That should be enough to at least give him a nice floor, but there isn’t a lot of upside here.
