DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Nikola Jokic ($10,000): Jokic had one of the best night as far as DraftKings points go of anyone this season in the first meeting with Detroit. He racked up a whopping 82! Denver was very thin in that game. They are almost back to full strength now. However, Detroit is awful up front. I have a big fear of a blowout here, so it’s hard to use Jokic with A.D. and Giannis both out there.

Zion Williamson ($8,000): This is another tough one for me. Zion is dazzling the league right now, but the Lakers have made literally every opposing center miserable this year. The two-headed monster of McGee and Howard isn’t great for DFS, but they together dominate opposing centers on the defensive end. Good luck Zion. He’ll show up, but I find it highly unlikely that he hits value.

Honorable Mention:

Steven Adams ($6,700): Adams has been putting up big numbers anyway. Now he gets a decimated Bulls front. There are lots of mouths to feed for the Thunder, but this is a game the frontcourt should dominate. I’m running the OKC frontcourt in at least one lineup and interspersed throughout the rest.

Serge Ibaka ($6,500): Forget the numbers from the first game. Gasol was healthy and so was Brook Lopez. Robin is a solid defender as well, but Ibaka could have a very nice game here. The Bucks locked down Siakam in the first game. That’s where most of their attention will be focused again. Serge could be a sneaky good play tonight.

Dark Horses:

Myles Turner ($5,000): The Hornets might be literally the only team that Turner has played well against. He played in two of the three meetings earlier this year and put up 76.75 DraftKings points in 61 minutes. That’s a return you don’t find against anyone else. If you’re ever going to play Turner this year, this is likely the best spot.

Robin Lopez ($3,200): RoLo has always been a limited offensive player, but whenever he starts, he’s a strong play because he’s a good defender and the price is very low. I don’t care for the matchup, but again, at this price it shouldn’t really matter. RoLo is a strong play for those of us desperate for value.
