47. . Edge. New England Patriots. K'Lavon Chaisson. 23. player

The New England Patriots have the hardest decision they have had to make in 20 years coming up  this offseason, as they have to figure out what they are going to do with quarterback  Tom Brady. The six-time Super Bowl winner is an unrestricted free agent, and the Patriots have to decide if he is still their guy moving forward.

On the other side of the ball, the defense needs to add some talent to the edges, and they do so here at No. 23 by selecting LSU’s K’Lavon Chaisson. Some experts feel he could be the second-best edge rusher in this draft class, and the Patriots would be filling a major void on their defense by getting him this late in round one.

With or without Brady, you know the Patriots are going to be right back in the thick of things in 2020, and when all is said and done, he will likely be back with the team. Head coach Bill Belichick is a defensive genius, and with a player like Chaisson, he would certainly find ways to make him dominant in Year 1.

Justin Jefferson. 24. player. 15. . Wide Receiver. New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have gotten the best news of the offseason so far, as future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees has said he will return for the 2020 NFL season. With Brees back under center, the Saints immediately go back to being a Super Bowl contender, and now they must start to fill the holes on their roster.

When it comes to the wide receiver position in the NFL, there are few guys who can even shine the shoes of Michael Thomas, who is having a record-breaking start to his career. However, he does need some help on the outside, and with pick No. 24 overall, the Saints go out and get him some.

Justin Jefferson from LSU proved during the team’s title run that he can make the big play in the big spot, and he will get every opportunity to play in big games playing in New Orleans. A combination of Thomas and Jefferson could prove deadly for the Saints, and for the rest of the NFC South, that is a big problem.
