DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

CSKA held Nikola Mirotic to his lowest output of the season in the first meeting. This looks like a slate to not pay up for either $12,000 player. Of course, they are that price for a reason. James and Mirotic are still the guys with the highest upside.

The Berlin front took it to Efes in the first meeting. That’s probably going to happen again. Luke Sikma is one of my favorite plays of the entire slate. I like the idea of pairing him with Rokas Giedraitis as well.

The better plays seem to be at forward today. Tornike Shengelia put up 33 DraftKings points on Belgrade in the first meeting. Shengelia finally gets a plus matchup again after a rough month matchup-wise. He could sneak up on some people.

I don’t really trust Ayon or Greg Monroe, but both of them have been over 20 DraftKings points in every game for the last month. If you like consistency, those two are a good place to look. You can add Georgios Printezis to that list. He has higher upside than the other two.

Dunston didn’t return last week even though he was active. Due to that, I don’t really want to use anyone on the Efes front. Dunston is going to ease his way back, but he’s going to siphon a lot of the value off of Chris Singleton, who has played well lately.

Kostas Papanikolau could be in for a big game with Milutinov out. This is a good matchup anyway, but it raises the ceiling on Papanikolau, Printezis, and Othello Hunter. Octavius Ellis could be a great pick at a low price as well.

Dollar for dollar, Tim Abromaitis is the best player up front for St. Petersburg. His floor is solid and not far below Ayon’s at almost $3,000 less. Munich is going to push them around, so Abromaitis is about the only one I trust.

If you want to go really cheap, Thiemann is an interesting pick. He is just $4,900 and scored more than 20 points in each of the last two games that he was active before the break. He’s a risk, but considering he played on Sunday, he should be active in some capacity. We likely wont have a concrete number before tip. Therein lies the risk.
