1. Diogo Jota scores again as Wolves beat Spurs

Spurs host Tottenham in a game at the other end of the table with both of these sides vying for a top-four finish. Wolves are having another sensational season in the Premier League which looks all the more impressive when you consider the fact that they’re still involved in the Europa League.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been sensational in Europe and confirmed their place in the last 16 this week despite losing away at Espanyol. Wolves’ midweek exploits haven’t had an effect on their league performance either, with Nuno refusing to use the Europa League as an excuse for poor weekend performances.

Tottenham have been indifferent since Jose Mourinho took over. The London side have become incredibly hard to predict with some great wins but some equally disappointing displays. Spurs look defensively frail and are now missing a true striker after injuries to Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min.

Mourinho turned to Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn away at Chelsea last weekend but that striking partnership was far from fruitful as Spurs’ chances were few and far between in the game. Lamela came on in that match to make a difference and it won’t be a surprise to see the Argentine midfielder start this weekend.

Wolves play more as a team though and that will be the difference-maker in this match-up. Nuno’s side have quality from back to front and should have no problems breaking down a Spurs defense that has struggled of late, having conceded seven in their last four matches.

Tottenham may dominate possession but they will do little with it. Wolves will be calculated and coordinated in their attacking play and do enough to win this one. Diogo Jota will score one and make one as Wolves win 2-0 to strengthen their chances of a top-four finish.
