DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,600): Unless there is a massive flare up, Giannis and his back should be good to go here. Giannis put up 62.5 DraftKings points on the Thunder the first time around in 36 minutes. That seems to be a reasonable expectation for tonight as well. Giannis has as much upside as anyone and a safe floor provided the game stays close. This one should.

Pascal Siakam ($8,500): The Raptors may have to run Siakam at the five tonight with Ibaka and Gasol both looking unlikely to play. Boucher will get some run as well. Honestly, that probably only ups the value on Siakam. Charlotte is horrid in the middle. The Toronto front should feast here no matter who gets the minutes.

Aaron Gordon ($8,200): Gordon’s recent tear continued with dominance of Atlanta. Minnesota is probably even worse up front with Towns out. This run will likely come to an end at some point, but keep riding it until it does. This looks like another 50+ DraftKings point night for Gordon.

Honorable Mention:

Christian Wood ($7,200): Wood still doesn’t start, but he is playing over 30 minutes per game now. If he can put up 37.5 DraftKings points on a good Denver front, I believe he can do it against just about anyone. One of his first games without Drummond was against this Suns team. Wood went for 35 DraftKings points in that one. He should be able to do that again.

Bojan Bogdanovic ($6,100): Bojan torched Washington in the first meeting, but he has been mired in an awful slump of late. Bojan hasn’t shot better than 40% since the break. If he’s ever going to get back on track it should be here. This is quite a price to pay to find out though.

Dark Horses:

James Johnson ($5,000): Johnson is left to patrol the paint with Towns out and he has held his own for the most part. Johnson has between 27 and 30 DraftKings points in every game with Towns out. You know exactly what you’re getting. That probably leaves Johnson best for cash games, but he’s solid in GPP formats as well.

Juancho Hernangomez ($4,800): It took Minnesota a few games to iron out some kinks with Towns out, but they seem to be playing well together right now. Part of that is Juancho asserting himself more on offense. It helps that he and Beastley frequently ran together in Denver. Integrating Russell hasn’t been difficult at all. I’m running a game stack of this game because I think it could have a higher score than people think. Juancho will be a part of that.

Nicolo Melli ($4,100): Melli is basically a tall J.J. Redick. Redick doesn’t get a lot of run with the Pelicans healthy, but they always have use for a guy that can nail triples like Redick but is tall enough to snag a half dozen rebounds. Melli doesn’t have a ton of upside, but he has beeen a big part of the Pelicans’ surge since the break.
