DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Hassan Whiteside ($9,300): Matchups don’t get a lot better than this. The Hawks are a barren wasteland at center right now. We could see a huge game from Whiteside. He has at least 48 DraftKings points in every game with Lillard out. He’s destroying teams anyway. He might break Atlanta.

Nikola Vucevic ($8,800): I stacked this game last night, but avoided Vucevic because of Gordon. Well, they both went big last night. Gordon was still better, but Vucevic cracked 50 again against the Towns-less Wolves. The Spurs are without Aldridge, so this front is in a load of trouble as well.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo ($8,600): This is a game in which Bam should dominate, but there are so many mouths to feed on this team it doesn’t always turn out that way. The Heat would rather play 11 players 30 minutes than use eight players for 35 minutes each. I like Bam here, but it’s hard for him to reach his potential with this team at full strength.

Tristan Thompson ($6,900): Thompson is still going to see good minutes with Drummond out. Nance is struggling, but he is a cheaper alternative to Love and Thompson. You just never know. Thompson dominated the Pacers in the first two meetings as well, putting up 77.5 DraftKings points in those two games. There’s value to be had in the Cleveland frontcourt, but who is going to seize it?

Dark Horses:

Marquese Chriss ($5,400): Revenge is a dish best served cold. Chriss last stepped on this court in a home uniform as a 20-year-old full of potential back in 2018. Two years later, the Warriors have given him a chance to reach that potential. Chriss has done well with the Warriors so far, but he has yet to have a really big game. Maybe we see it tonight. You know he wants to show the Suns what they missed.

Daniel Theis ($4,900): Theis matches up a lot better with the Pocket Rockets than Kanter does. He put up 25.75 DraftKings points against them in the first meeting. Since that game back on the 11th, only the Clippers have held him under that total. Don’t expect miracles, but Theis is a solid value play.
