DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

D’Angelo Russell ($9,000): Russell is at his best when he’s a one-man show. He has good support in Minneapolis, but with KAT out, he is the unquestioned star. Russell hasn’t come in under 40 DraftKings points with KAT off the court. This is another strong spot for Russell. He put up 44 DraftKings points in his only game against the Pelicans this year while he was with the Warriors.

De’Aaron Fox ($8,000): His name on the injury report is only a formality at this point. Fox hasn’t really been in danger of sitting either of the last two games and he put up 80.75 DraftKings points in the two of them. This price is a little high, but he has a superb matchup against the Wizards. Fox has scored at least 20 actual points in five straight. That streak reaches six today.

Honorable Mention:

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,500): Dinwiddie is doing a nice job running the point with Kyrie out. LeVert has cut into his production some and this isn’t a great matchup against Boston. That said, Dinwiddie put up 51.5 DraftKings points on Boston the first time around. If he can keep those assist numbers up, Dinwiddie is a strong play again.

Lonzo Ball ($7,300): Don’t expect him to pop off 19 points very often, but the rebounds and assists make him a threat for a triple-double every night. Ball has a great matchup with Minnesota, but so does the rest of his team. I’m nervous since he’s the fourth option on offense.

Shake Milton ($6,300): I’m not a huge fan of running guys at the Lakers, but Shake has 126.5 DraftKings points over the last three games. Once of those, his best one, was against the Clippers. Shake has taken over as the scorer on this team. Ben who? The Sixers barely miss Simmons right now. In fact, they probably don’t miss him at all.

Dark Horses:

Dejounte Murray ($5,700): Murray seems to have his shot back after going cold at the end of February. The Spurs need his scoring with LMA out. The guards are the propellers for this team right now. Indiana and Orlando both keyed on DeRozan, so Murray should see plenty of open shots once again. All he has to do is hit them.

Patty Mills ($3,300): Mills is the best source of instant offense off of the Spurs bench. He led the team in scoring last night against Indiana. Guards are the pieces that are really going to work against Charlotte. The Spurs aren’t going to start Mills, but he is still going to see plenty of run at this price. PG is much weaker than it looks tonight. Mills is a strong punt option that may go unnoticed.
