DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($10,400): It’s an easy pivot off of LeBron to Beal if Davis plays. Do you want to bet against Beal right now? He has averaged 63 DraftKings points per game over the last five games. His low mark was 50.75 against the pesky Nets. The Kings aren’t good defensively. Look for Beal to take over again.

Andrew Wiggins ($7,600): We aren’t docked for shooting percentage, so Wiggins is in play as long as he is the only proven offensive piece that the Warriors have. This isn’t a great matchup against Denver, but the Warriors’ supporting cast have kept them from being blown off the floor most nights. There is also a very real chance that the Warriors only have eight or nine guys in uniform again. Wiggins is going to have to play regardless of what the score is.

Honorable Mention:

Terry Rozier ($6,100): Rozier will be the go-to guy in the backcourt with Graham sidelined. Plenty of value is going to open up here, but Rozier will be the guy who primarily handles the ball. That gives him more upside. There are a lot of sneaky good spots with the Hornets tonight. Rozier is probably the best known of them but that doesn’t mean he isn’t worth using.

Malik Beasley ($6,000): The price on Beastley is getting high enough that he’s not an automatic play anymore. However, Vegas expects this to be close and high scoring. Both teams specialize in “ole” defense and have players that are adept scorers. Beastley gits fits that bill. Orlando and Dallas held him down. This could be where Beastley gets back on track.

Dark Horses:

Buddy Hield ($5,500): I feel the same way about Hield as I felt about Bojan last night. Sure, they have sucked lately, but they are in great matchups and the price is very low for the upside. This is a superb matchup, but Hield only plays about 25 minutes a game now. He only needs about one fantasy point per minute to hit value, which is well within Hield’s reach. He’s not going to do what Bojan did last night, but Hield is a legit threat for 6x value. Bogdan is just as dangerous at the same price.

Cody Martin ($4,100): Martin has put up solid numbers in solid minutes since Monk’s suspension. This is where he shares center stage with Rozier. With Monk and Graham both out, Martin should start. He’s not a high volume scorer, but Martin contributes across several categories. He has a good floor and immense upside at this price.

Mychal Mulder ($3,600): Mulder is playing good minutes, and likely will until his contract is up. The way he’s playing right now, Mulder may have to cancel his lease in Sioux Falls. Mulder has 49.5 DraftKings points over the last two games. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s over 7x value at this price.
