4. Cincinnati Bengals

A lot of teams that make sense for Robby Anderson are teams that will feature young quarterbacks, making him a guy the starter can grow with. One team that will certainly be looking to break in a new quarterback next season is the Cincinnati Bengals.

Owners of the top pick in the draft, the Bengals will likely end up with Joe Burrow as their franchise quarterback. Burrow will need good weapons to develop into a star, and the Bengals need some help at receiver.

Franchise icon A.J. Green missed the 2019 season with a foot injury and may leave in free agency. Tyler Boyd is a solid second option for the Bengals, but he is a bit miscast as the leading man in an NFL offense.

Anderson would bring some serious verticality for the Bengals, giving Burrow a chance to stretch the field and blow the top off of defenses. That vertical ability would also open up the running game for Joe Mixon, which would also help Burrow’s development.

The question is whether the notoriously conservative Bengals are willing to make a huge free-agent splash like signing Anderson. It would be out of character for Cincinnati, but this would be a risk worth taking.
