1. Cornerback

Richard Sherman has revitalized his career with the 49ers, but he is entering the final year of his contract. Across from the left side of the field he patrols almost every snap, there is no definitive answer at right cornerback, with Ahkello Witherspoon and Emmanuel Moseley both starting games at that spot.

The Niners, therefore, need long-term answers on each side, making adding to the position in the offseason in the necessity.

Next. Amari Cooper might be the first $100M receiver in NFL history. dark

A draft not short on talent at corner seems the most obvious avenue for the 49ers to do that. The likes of Bradley Roby, Chris Harris, and Ronald Darby could appeal should the Niners decide to try to convince a free agent to take a discount to join a contender.
