DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

James Harden ($10,700): Harden has averaged 64.6 DraftKings points per game in three meetings with the Clippers so far this year. If you are going to pay up tonight, this seems like the place to do it. Harden’s floor is probably the highest of any star. He’s one of the few I would consider running against the Clippers.

Andrew Wiggins ($7,800): We finally get to see how Wiggins and Curry play together. I have a feeling that there will be some growing pains. However, Wiggins hasn’t had someone who can feed him the ball like Curry can since Rubio left Minnesota. He’s had to create for himself the last few years. Wiggins was probably better with Rubio around. I kind of expect the same thing here, but I don’t know if the duo will hit the ground running.

Honorable Mention:

Norman Powell ($6,600): I’ll only use Powell if VanVleet it out again. Fred hasn’t played with Powell back yet. With the way OG and RHJ have played at times with VanVleet out, Powell likely wont play 40 minutes once the Raptors return to full health. Wait for the price to go down if Fred is back in the lineup.

Buddy Hield ($5,900): Hield doesn’t see the minutes that he did as a starter, but his lines are almost as productive. The ceiling is just a lot lower. Hield torched Philly for 35.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting. He’s not going to play 37 minutes this time, but Richardson is also out this game. The defense wont be as good opposing him either. Hield is a solid GPP dart.

Dark Horses:

Cody Martin ($4,500): Martin’s price is up to the point where I likely wont use him if Graham is back in the mix. Martin’s numbers were solid off the bench, but his ceiling is still rather limited with Rozier and Bridges seeing most of the looks with Graham out. Martin is more of a cash play, but I wouldn’t even use him there if Graham returns.

Gary Harris ($4,400): Harris is always going to play big minutes for Denver because of his defense. Lately he has added some scoring to go with it. Harris has the potential for a big game against Charlotte if this game stays close. If not, Denver has more than enough good players to empty the bench and hold a lead. Still, Harris’s price is low enough that he’s worth considering.
