DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

It’s hard to use Alexey Shved and hard not to use him. As I mentioned earlier, this slate is loaded. If you let Shved take up that much of your salary, it limits what you can do elsewhere. I’ll probably run him once just because I feel like I have to, but I like the other build anchored by Nando better. There’s $3,000 more to play with.

Shane Larkin played just enough to limit Vasilije Micic on Wednesday. This is a great matchup for the both of them, but I see the same thing happening here. Larkin wont get a full compliment of minutes and will only limit Micic in the process. The strong play of Krunoslav Simon and Rodrigue Beaubois make

Martin Hermannsson came up with a solid game against a tough Barcelona backcourt on Wednesday. This should be a much easier game against Baskonia. Hermannsson is one of my favorite cash plays right now. I don’t know that there’s enough upside here for GPP usage though.

Barcelona again has another great matchup, but I’m not running both guards. I much prefer Cory Higgins over Malcolm Delaney. Higgins might be my favorite guard play on the entire slate. He and Nando look like a strong build, but I’ve been wrong before.

As per usual, the middle tier is littered with bad matchups and inconsistent players. The one that stands out to me is Pierria Henry. The fact that he is only playing about half the game now worries me, but the price is low enough that he may still be good enough. He doesn’t have a ton of upside at 20 minutes though.

Leo Westermann was the guy that got the biggest boost in minutes from the absence of Sloukas. He’s a strong value play today with Sloukas still out. The matchup against Khimki looks nice as well.

It didn’t take long for Yovel Zoosman to get back into his old role. He could be a hell of a bargain at $4,400 if Tel Aviv plans on playing him 20 minutes. He’s a lock as a value play on any slate. Expect high ownership, but he should be more than worth it.
