Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on March 7 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the NBA DFS slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Utah at Detroit
7:30 p.m. ET: Denver at Cleveland
8 p.m. ET: Atlanta at Memphis
8:30 p.m. ET: Philadelphia at Golden State
10 p.m. ET: Sacramento at Portland

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

John Collins (at MEM – $8,800 on DK; $ on FD): If Trae doesn’t end up playing again then there will be good value on the Hawks. And it’s not like there is much to choose from on this night. Collins will pick up points and rebounds and find his way into some assists just given the Atlanta offense and the attention that will be on him.

Steph Curry (vs PHI – $8,000 on DK; $ on FD): Steph back and maybe not quite better than ever but he certainly looked good in his return. The shot wasn’t there but that will come around and could certainly come around in this one. The Sixers can’t be trusted on the road and Steph will continue to feed off the crowd while getting buckets and finding teammates.

Jonas Valanciunas (vs ATL – $7,300 on DK; $ on FD): The Hawks are weak against the position though Valanciunas can be inconsistent, this matchup is too good to pass up. It’s a back to back for both teams but the Grizzlies are at home, which helps, and they are simply the better team. He should easily pick up a double double with a high scoring output.

Jamal Murray (at CLE – $6,700 on DK; $ on FD): Speaking of inconsistent options. The Cavaliers are terrible against the position and Murray obviously has a high ceiling with his scoring production and assist potential. The Nuggets can always have a letdown game and this has been a letdown road trip but Murray should be able to get his points off.
