11. CB Chris Harris Jr.

Despite instant indications otherwise, the Broncos’ acquisition of cornerback A.J. Bouye from the Jacksonville Jaguars is a clear sign Harris will be playing elsewhere next season. The list of outside rumored suitors for the four-time Pro Bowler was already long (Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Las Vegas Raiders, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, New York Jets), and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs can be added to the list now.

As he transitioned from being the best slot corner in the NFL from 2015-17 to playing outside more the last couple years, Harris has fallen off a bit. But PFF graded him out at No. 35 out of 133 qualifying cornerbacks last year, so it’s not as if he has suddenly become a stiff.

Harris has edged to the wrong side of 30 now (31 in June), so a pronounced decline could come rapidly. But what’s lined up to be a wide market for his services is a strong sign he’s still well-regarded league-wide, even if Broncos’ general manager John Elway doesn’t seem to share that belief.
