DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

Domantas Sabonis ($8,900): Sabonis has turned into a double-double machine. He has posted one in every game since the break. Boston had trouble with Sabonis the first time around. Sabonis put up 49 DraftKings points despite scoring just 15 real points. That shows what a well-rounded line from Sabonis can do. There’s solid upside here even at this price.

Kevin Love ($8,100): Missing pieces or not, Love has been big for the Cavs lately. They have come up with wins against the Spurs and Nuggets of late. Now Love gets a Chicago team that he dominated three times earlier this year, averaging 47.7 DraftKings points per game in just 32.4 minutes. Love has five straight games of more than 40 DraftKings points. The streak hits six here.

Honorable Mention:

Aaron Gordon ($7,900): Gordon isn’t ripping teams to shreds like he did right after the break, but he is still putting up good numbers. The Grizzlies are still hurting up front and bigs have really been getting to them with both Clarke and Jaren Jackson out. The huge minutes are still there for Gordon, so he can go off again at any time.

Julius Randle ($7,600): Randle has eaten Washington alive in the three meetings this year. Randle has 152.25 DraftKings points in the first three meetings. Washington isn’t any better up front than they were then. Randle may have the best upside at the position. That’s saying a lot with the great options above him.

Dark Horses:

Cedi Osman ($5,400): Osman has played at least 37 minutes in every game with Garland out. His versatility is helping cover for the absences of Porter and various bigs as well. He has responded with some solid games. Osman is basically a mid-range cash play. He has very little upside despite the huge minutes totals.

Davis Bertans ($5,300): Bertans can’t handle Randle, but he has been able to score on the Knicks. Bertans put up a solid 27.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting and has cleared 30 DraftKings points in all but one March game. There isn’t huge upside here, but there’s enough to make Bertans a decent mid-range play.

James Johnson ($4,900): Only Dallas has kept Johnson under 27 DraftKings points since his trade to Minnesota. He also hasn’t had a monster game, so Johnson is pretty much a cash game play right now. He should get plenty of run against Houston’s small ball revolution, so I see another strong game out of Johnson here.
