Duds

James Harden (vs MIN – $11,300 on DK; $11,200 on FD): Harden is at the top salary and I’m not convinced he’ll end up as the top scorer. There’s a lot of talent on Tuesday night and though the matchup is great, Harden hasn’t exactly inspired much confidence in recent months. There’s more guaranteed value below him.

Kawhi Leonard (at GS – $9,200 on DK; $9,400 on FD): Kawhi has been fine in recent games but not quite good enough. And while it’s possible he comes out angry after the Lakers loss, I expect him to stay the course and continue to build with the Clippers being healthy and getting new pieces. George offers more value in this one.

Jayson Tatum (at IND – $8,900 on DK; $8,700 on FD): Tatum hasn’t been quite himself in the last couple of games and now he has a tough matchup against a good Pacers team. He’ll get his touches and opportunities but there’s a lot of good value available with better matchups and more guarantees.

D’Angelo Russell (at HOU – $8,500 on DK; $7,900 on FD): Russell has been inconsistent with the Timberwolves, which isn’t too surprising given that the team isn’t very good and Towns has been hurt. The Rockets have been a mess but there’s better value below him on his own team rather than spending on him.

Andrew Wiggins (vs LAC – $7,400 on DK; $7,200 on FD): It’s a tough matchup for Wiggins and the Warriors. And if Curry doesn’t play then Wiggins will have a real tough go of it dealing with the Clippers defense. If Curry plays then he’s slightly more desirable as it opens up more things for him. But definitely stay away if Curry is out of the lineup.
