San Francisco 49ers: WR Robby Anderson (New York Jets)

One significant move made by general manager John Lynch last October was obtaining wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders from the Denver Broncos. The savvy performer proved to be an excellent addition for the Super Bowl-bound San Francisco 49ers and proved to be a savior of sorts for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as Kyle Shanahan’s offense moved into a different gear with the experienced pass-catcher at his disposal.

But as free agency approaches, Sanders as well as safety Jimmie Ward and defensive end Arik Armstead are all players that the club could see hit the open market. The latter comes off a season in which he led the team with a career-best 10 sacks.

It’s not as if the Niners don’t have up-and-coming talent at wideout, in particular Deebo Samuel as well as unsung Kendrick Bourne. Regardless, replacing Sanders would not be easy. But if Lynch is put into that spots, New York Jets’ wide receiver Robby Anderson would be an intriguing option. He finished 2019 with 52 catches, good for 779 yards and five scores. The big-play performer has missed only two games in four seasons and has totaled 207 receptions for 3,059 yards and 20 scores with the Green and White.
