60. . Offensive Tackle. Minnesota Vikings. Josh Jones. 25. player

The Minnesota Vikings made it all the way to the Divisional Round this past season, as Kirk Cousins led a remarkable victory over the New Orleans Saints on the road in the Wild Card round. As they enter the 2020 season, his last under his current contract, Cousins is going to be expected to  take the next step forward, and that is getting this team to  the NFC title game.

For Cousins to do that, the Vikings are going to have to be better along the offensive line, and they can improve in a big way by selecting Josh Jones in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Jones is a mountain of a man, and while he is a bit of a project right now, he could come in and start on the right side for this team right away.

Minnesota has the talent on offense to put up points, and you have to think the star players they have on defense will bounce back in 2020. The NFC North is going to be a tough one next season, as the Chicago Bears should improve, as well as the Detroit Lions, and the Vikings are always in contention with a tough Green Bay Packers team.

50. . Safety. Detroit Lions. Grant Delpit. 26. player

With the No. 26 overall pick, the Detroit Lions continue to add to their secondary, this time adding LSU safety Grant Delpit. Remember, the Lions got this pick thanks to the trade they made with the Miami Dolphins earlier in this mock draft, and by selecting Delpit, they solidify their secondary for the long haul.

Delpit had a remarkable career for the Tigers, playing a key role in them going undefeated last season and taking home the national title. On Detroit, he would join a safety group that is going to lose Tavon Wilson and Miles Killebrew this offseason, and a defensive backfield that may lose Darius Slay to a trade.

Overall, the haul  they get in this mock draft, adding Delpit and Jeffrey Okudah, makes the secondary instantly better. Of course, hanging on to Slay to  team with Okudah would be the best-case scenario for the Lions, but if they must part ways, at least he would be leaving them with talent behind him.
