2020 NFL mock draft: Dolphins trade up for Tua

The San Francisco 49ers are another team that is rumored to be in the sweepstakes for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, but that is not likely to happen. Jimmy Garoppolo has done nothing but win games since coming into the league, and the team is in good hands with him under center.
Looking at the other side of the ball, the 49ers need help in their secondary, and bringing in a player like Trevon Diggs from Alabama helps their cornerback spot immediately. Richard Sherman is getting up there in age, and by adding Diggs, they have a long-term solution for when he decides to retire.
San Francisco will once again be one of the better teams in the NFC next season, but they showed weakness against the pass, especially against the best quarterbacks in the league. Diggs will come into the NFL and be ready to shut down wideouts from Day 1, and getting him this late in round one would be a steal.
The Kansas City Chiefs will round out the first round in April, this after capturing their first Super Bowl title in 50 years. The Chiefs were led by the best quarterback in all of football in Patrick Mahomes, who recently stated on The Shop that he just began reading defenses midway through this past season.
With the No. 32 overall pick, Kansas City should look to bolster their run game, and they do so here by adding Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor. This kid showed his explosiveness during the NFL Scouting Combine, and during his time in school, showed he could be the kind of running back who can tote the rock 25 times a game.
The Chiefs certainly have enough talent to be back in the Super Bowl next season, and Taylor could give their offense a brand new dimension. Imagine giving Mahomes more weapons this offseason? That is a scary thought for the rest of the AFC West, and the NFL as a whole.
