Twitter unleashes disappointment after Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Utah Jazz game postponed minutes before tipoff.
Just moments before the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Utah Jazz game was set to begin, it was postponed. As abrupt as the decision was, it was also something we all thought we’d see coming. Sports leagues all over the world are canceling, postponing or altering their schedules and it appears as though this NBA game is no different. The coronavirus has affected yet another sporting event.
The game was officially postponed due to an illness, which triggered coronavirus fears and even caused the Oklahoma City Police to lock down the stadium while plans were put into place.
Here’s the moment the players were pulled off the court.
Here's the moment the Jazz & Thunder left the court in Oklahoma City. Reports say the game postponed because of illness to a player or players (reportedly Gobert & Mudiay among others) Announcer in the arena finished by saying "you're all safe" ...Yikes! pic.twitter.com/FJc5ayBPo0
