Bob Quinn was named the general manager of the Detroit Lions in 2016. That means he’s conducted four drafts with the club and in two of those instances he used the club’s first-round pick on bolstering the offensive line. That first year, it was Ohio State tackle Taylor Decker. In 2018, it was University of Arkansas center Frank Ragnow.

Back to Quinn’s first draft in the Motor City, when he not only selected Decker but grabbed a pair of interior blockers. In the third round, he opted for Wisconsin’s Graham Glasgow and in the fifth round, Washington State’s Joe Dahl was the selection. And now it regards to the former Razorback, the 6-foot-6, 310-pound performer may be on the verge of testing the free-agent market (via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press). Glasgow has missed only two games in four seasons and has seen starting duty at both guard and center during his brief career.

So what does the club do for a possible replacement should the 27-year-old Glasgow indeed move on? Six-year pro Michael Schofield is a well-traveled performer who has suited up for both Denver Broncos – who made him a third-round pick in 2014 – and Chargers in recent years. He’s spent the past three seasons with the Bolts and started all 16 games each of the past two years. Would the former Michigan Wolverine be a suitable replacement?
