If the electrifying speed of Henry Ruggs isn’t the Eagles’ cup of tea in round one, Penn State’s KJ Hamler could be a sensible target in round two.

What Hamler lacks in size (5-foot-9, 178 pounds), he more than makes up for it in elite speed. Hamler excelled out of the slot for the Nittany Lions and his deep speed and explosiveness would make him a welcome addition to the Eagles’ offense.

His lack of size lends itself to long-term durability concerns and a high number of drops mean he’s more than likely a late second to early third round pick. If Philadelphia punts on a wide receiver in the first round, Hamler is a good target in the late second round and could carve out an important role for the Eagles’ offense in his rookie season.
