DeAndre Hopkins is a surprise name to emerge as a potential trade candidate, here we look at five teams who should look to strike a deal for him.

DeAndre Hopkins leaving the Houston Texans would have seemed unthinkable even as recently as last season.

However, according to Peter King, the Texans could be open to trading the three-time All-Pro wide receiver to escape what he described as “draft hell.”

The Texans do not have a top-50 pick in this year’s or next year’s draft and talk of them considering trading Hopkins should attract attention from teams flush with draft capital.

Here we look at five teams who should be looking to acquire the superstar wideout.

Buffalo Bills

The most significant thing the Bills are lacking on offense is a legitimate number one wide receiver who can negate the accuracy struggles Josh Allen often endures.

Hopkins, with his massive catch radius and proclivity for making mind-boggling adjustments to the football, is the prototype of what Buffalo requires at the position.

Their first-round pick in this year’s draft may not be enough to get a deal done. However, an elite receiver in the prime of his career is certainly worth packaging picks for.

As the Bills attempt to identify the players that can help them become title contenders, they need to be considering putting together such an offer.
